Spider Vein Treatment

Let us resolve your unsightly veins.

Spider veins, technically called telangiectasias, are thin, delicate, reddish or purple blood vessels that sit close to the surface of the skin and generally appear in clusters on the legs and face. At the Vein Clinic at PWC, we provide state-of-the-art spider vein treatment in Portland, Oregon, to clear up unsightly veins with no downtime.

For vein treatment by specialists, choose the Vein Clinic at PWC. Ask a question, book online, or call our office in Portland at (503) 771-1883. We serve women and men from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California and Alaska.

Causes

Spider veins have a variety of causes including hormones, weight gain, pregnancy, sun exposure and heredity. While spider veins are different from varicose veins both conditions can be caused by venous reflux disease. For more complete, lasting spider vein removal, venous reflux disease must first be treated. If venous reflux disease is suspected, we will perform an ultrasound before recommending treatment for your spider veins.

Treatments

Our laser-assisted spider vein treatment is a state-of-the-art technology that eliminates the appearance of surface spider veins on the legs and face. A pinpoint laser light is passed through the skin to selectively target the underlying vein with minimal discomfort. This treatment offers beautiful results that are often immediate with no downtime.
