A MINIMALLY INVASIVE PROCEDURE

    WITH LONG-LASTING IMPROVEMENT

Aging in younger individuals begins in the upper face. In certain individuals, heaviness in the eyes may be due to a lowering of the forehead and brows. Many patients think they would benefit from eye surgery when a brow lift is the solution. If you gently pull up on the skin just above your eyebrows and you like what you see, a brow lift could be a procedure of interest for you. It provides long lasting results and is an excellent choice for younger patients with aging changes mainly located in the upper face.

All browlifts are not the same

The traditional approach to correct the issues of the brow often left the patient with a surprised look of the eyes and a plastic look of the forehead. This is not the result we strive for at Pearl Women’s Center. Using a new, minimally invasive approach, the Endoscopic Browlift accomplishes a very pleasing result with tiny incisions. These small incisions are made behind the hair line, allowing a small camera (endoscope) to be inserted under the skin. The surgery is completed without making large cuts in the scalp.

This new endoscopic technique avoids large scars from ear to ear, raising of the hairline, causing the forehead to look bigger, and nerve damage that leaves the scalp feeling numb. It is also crucial to avoid creating a surprised look, resulting from eyebrows which have been raised too high and are not in sync with the rest of your face. The Endoscopic Browlift restores a natural look, not one of obvious surgical intervention.

Minimally invasive means minimal recovery

The recovery for this procedure will include some swelling that lasts approximately one week. Since the incisions are hidden in the hair, there are no unsightly scars.
