About

Dr. Richard Rosenfield has been practicing medicine in Oregon since 2000. After completing his residency training at Stanford University Hospital, he moved with his wife, Lynne, to Portland. Simply stated, they fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Rosenfield is widely known for his minimally invasive approaches to surgical procedures. He has lectured nationally and internationally about the outpatient approach to hysterectomy, robotic surgery in gynecology, fertility and sterility, and the Essure method of permanent contraception. He has pioneered new techniques and surgical approaches in the field of Gynecology.

Dr. Rosenfield is active in the Portland metropolitan community as a business owner and educator, lecturing frequently about Gynecology Topics. His passion for women’s healthcare is evident as part of the Medical Advisory Committee of Komen of Oregon and as the founder of Doctors for the Cure, a philanthropic effort to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research. He also finds time to be an active member of the executive board of the Pearl District Business Association.

Dr. Rosenfield and his wife Lynne love the outdoors, enjoy hiking, skiing, SCUBA diving, and traveling, as well as spending time with their two children, Gabe and Peri. Dr. Rosenfield also enjoys playing guitar in his free time.

Dr. Richard Bensimon has been a practicing plastic surgeon since 1987. After completing his surgical residency at the prestigious Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, he placed his private practice on hold for a year to serve as the surgical director of a refugee camp hospital on the Thailand-Cambodian border. Upon his return to New York, he completed an in-depth plastic surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.

Prior to joining Pearl Women’s Center, Dr. Bensimon owned a successful plastic surgery center on the East coast, catering to New England’s elite. After visiting Oregon and enjoying its charms, he decided to make the Northwest his home and serve as Director of Plastic Surgery at Pearl Women’s Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bensimon has been a true innovator in his field. He pioneered a “skin-sparing mastectomy” for improved breast reconstruction in cancer patients. He teaches his surgical techniques throughout the US and abroad. He is one of the few experts across the nation performing the Hetter Peel, a state-of-the-art procedure that effectively alters textural changes in the skin resulting from aging.

Dr. Bensimon enjoys traveling, fine wine and the company of good friends.

Andrea L. Stapleton RNFA, CPSN began her nursing career in 1983 at Connecticut’s renowned St. Vincent’s Medical Center. There, she gained valuable experience in advanced technology for critical care monitoring and emergency room medicine.

In 1994, Ms. Stapleton accepted a position at the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Connecticut. Today, Ms. Stapleton is one of the nation’s premier surgical aesthetic nurses and an experienced practitioner of non-surgical rejuvenation. She has built a thriving practice centered around helping her patients achieve their desired goals.

Ms. Stapleton is a board certified plastic surgical nurse and aesthetic nurse specialist with a high degree of expertise in the non-surgical facelift. She is greatly appreciated by her patients for her soothing demeanor and comfortable treatments. Ms. Stapleton is widely acknowledged to be a gifted instructor and national level speaker. As an industry expert, she travels extensively to share her expertise with other practitioners. As a paid consultant for Allergan, the manufacturer of BOTOX, Ms. Stapleton worked closely with the company, sharing her techniques and insight to help achieve superior patient outcomes. She continues to be a clinical instructor for Botox.

At Pearl Women’s Center, Ms. Stapleton works closely with Dr. Richard Bensimon, Director of Plastic Surgery. The two have practiced together since 1997. Their team approach to the consultation process offers patients a unique perspective in facial aesthetics with options ranging from the most minimally invasive to comprehensive surgery.

In her free time Ms. Stapleton enjoys being outdoors, hiking, traveling, gardening, yoga, gourmet cooking and fine wine.
